It’s powerful, versatile and durable – but lighter and more compact than a classic UTV. With a new 518cc engine that’s both larger and more powerful than ever before, the Pioneer 520 features electronic fuel injection for effortless cold weather and high altitude operation, making it perfect for everything from farming to estate-management. And an efficient five-speed automatic transmission gives you plenty of pulling power for when the going gets tough. Plus, selectable two and four-wheel drive gives you the freedom to choose between lighter steering (in 2WD) and serious power (in 4WD).
Compact yet Powerful
The Pioneer 520’s understated size makes it incredibly versatile. At just 1270 mm wide, it can go where other side-by-sides can’t, including narrow trails and if you ever need to transport it, it will fit on a trailer. In fact, with a curb weight of only 483Kg, it’s one of the lightest petrol side by side on the market.
Towing
Small but mighty – despite it’s compact size, the Pioneer 520 features a heavy-duty receiver-style hitch giving it an impressive 454kg towing capacity.

Side-by-Side Seating
Durability doesn’t mean compromising on comfort. The Pioneer 520 offers bench-style seating, individual backrests and seatbelts for both driver and passenger. And with front opening doors, it’s easy to hop in and out.
Tilt Bed
Measuring 98.3cm wide, 65.8cm long and 25cm high, the Pioneers super-convenient tilt bed can carry up to a hulking 204kg. The bed has convenient slots that you can use to insert a divider, useful for separating loads. Plus, an assist strut and tailgate that opens flat make tipping easy.
Independent Suspension
Fully independent double wishbone suspension all round means you get a smooth ride, even over rough terrain.
